Water Filtration & Purification

With our NELSEN customized water filtration equipment, we are able to provide you with an unlimited variety of solutions for tackling your water concerns! We also offer commercial/industrial equipment for higher flow rates and multiple tank systems.

Water filtration involves the use of filters to remove larger particles and contaminates from your tap water to improve its taste and appearance. Sediment and carbon filters remove scale, chlorine, dissolved solids, heavy metals, and some bacteria. NELSEN's Filtersorb SP3 scale prevention filters will remove scale in water and even existing scale in your pipes!

Water purification is the next step of further filtering the water using more advanced carbon filters, reverse osmosis, ozone, UV and more. NELSEN's Water Solutions AIO® is a special control flow technology to allow your system to work optimally without affecting your plumbing.

How it works

Check out our handy diagram!

Water treatment systems can become quite complex when we offer hundreds of customized options for your home. We wanted to simply how it works so you can better understand the process and what it could look like in your home.

First the sediment filter captures large particles (i.e. sand, rust, dirt, etc) before the water enters the polyglass mineral tank.

As the main event, the polyglass mineral tank serves as the main housing, containing the filter media and water softening materials. It's a high pressure vessel to allow water to flow through the filter and is made of layers of fiberglass reinforced polyethylene for added strength and leak prevention.

The UV sterilizer is to kill microscopic bacteria and viruses and shines a UV light on the water as it flows into your home.
